Privacy Policy
CaptureArc is designed to keep screenshots and screen recordings on your Mac.
CaptureArc does not collect, sell, track, or transmit personal data. It has no account, advertising, analytics profile, or cloud service.
Files you authorize
CaptureArc reads image and movie files only from the folder you select with the standard macOS folder picker. That permission is stored as an app-scoped security bookmark so the folder remains available after restart. Files stay on your Mac unless you explicitly share or drag them to another app.
Screen access
CaptureArc does not record or capture your screen. It does not request Screen Recording, Accessibility, Input Monitoring, camera, microphone, location, contacts, or Full Disk Access.
Data collection and tracking
CaptureArc does not send usage analytics, diagnostics, file metadata, identifiers, or capture contents to the developer or third parties. It does not track you across apps or websites.
Retention
Your files remain under your control. If you enable automatic cleanup, eligible new captures are moved to the macOS Trash; they are not permanently erased by CaptureArc.
Changes
If a future version adds a network feature or third-party service, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before release.
Contact
For privacy questions, open a private-data-free privacy request. Do not include screenshots or other sensitive files in a public issue.
