CaptureArc Support
CaptureArc watches one folder you authorize and brings new captures to a shelf at the top of your screen.
First-time setup
1. Open CaptureArc and choose Authorize Capture Folder….
2. Press Shift + Command + 5 and open Options.
3. Under Save to, choose Other Location… and select the same folder.
4. Take a screenshot. Hover over or click the colored rim around the notch to open the shelf.
If a capture does not appear
- Confirm macOS Screenshot and CaptureArc use the same folder.
- Open CaptureArc Settings and choose Rescan Now.
- If the folder was moved or renamed, choose Change Capture Folder… and authorize it again.
- Clipboard-only screenshots do not create a file and cannot appear in the shelf.
